A regional training on gender and leadership with focus on right to inheritance will be held onFebruary4-7, 2013 in Amman, Jordanwithin the framework of the Regional Economic Empowerment of Women Project (REEWP).
With support from the Netherlands, UNESCO Maghreb and CAWTAR held a workshop on the result from the research project on young vulnerable women’s participation in local democracy 18 January 2013 in Tunis, Tunisia.
Hands Along the Nile Development Services (HANDS), in cooperation with the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR), is accepting applications for US exchange and fellowship opportunity for mid –level professionals working to promote the participation of women in society.
A Regional Training of Trainers (ToT) will be held on December 17-19, 2012 in Tunisia on how to use the guide of institutions offering services targeting women, prepared and published within the framework of the project ,“Alleviating Poverty Among Women in Rural Areas through Facilitating their Access to and Control of Resources Including Information, Social protection and Services “. The guide aims at improving access of women to resources and services in rural and urban areas in the three countries covered by the project, Mauritania, Sudan and, Yemen.
