Arrow Blue Arabesque Launching of the UAE country report: Women Business Owners in the UAE

Although limited access to finance and a lack of access to business skills training emerge as key finding in a report on women-owned businesses in the United Arab Emirates launched on May 15 2008 by the Dubai Women’s College (DWC) and the Dubai Business Women’s Council (DBWC), women entrepreneurs in the United Arab Emirates are highly optimistic and ambitious. The UAE country report is part of the project about women’s entrepreneurship in MENA supported by CAWTAR and the IFC.
