Launching of the Jordan country report: Women Business Owners in Jordan

 The IFC and CAWTAR launched the Jordan country report on June 5 2008 in Amman, Jordan, under the patronage of Her Royal Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan. The report identifies the key challenges that women face in the Jordan, in collaboration with the Jordan Forum of Business and Professional Women (JFBPW) and the University of Jordan’s Women Studies Center. The report focuses on the challenges, characteristics, and contribution of women business owners in Jordan, and identifies key recommendations to stakeholders in the country.
