Launching of the Electronic Version of the Regional Directory of Governmental and non Governmental Institutions Working in the Field of Combating Violence Against Women
The Center of Arab Women for Training and Research "CAWTAR" and the United Nations Development Fund For Women "UNIFEM" – North Africa Regional Office, are pleased to participate in the campaign "16 Days of Activism against Gender violence and put between your hands a link to the Regional Directory of Governmental and non Governmental Institutions Working in the Field of Combating Violence Against Women.
The directory identifies to 387 governmental and non-governmental organizations active in 18 Arab countries (Jordan, UAE, Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Mauritania and Yemen).
The directory sheds light on programs and the most important achievements of these institutions in the fight against gender based violence, and aims to facilitate communication, networking and exchange of experiences and lessons learned.
During the next few days we will launch the hard copy of the directory.
