A training session will be held 16-20 June, 2012 in Sudan on “empowering NGO's in poverty alleviation through participating in National and Local activities on local Development (MDG's) ” within the framework of the project ,“Alleviating Poverty Among Women in Rural Areas through Facilitating their Access to and Control of Resources Including Information, Social protection and Services “.
The session is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development and the High Commission of Population in charge of the achievement of the MDGs in Sudan.
Representatives from national and local NGOs & institutions and CAWTAR’s partners in the OFID project will attend this session in order to enhance their knowledge on the Millennium Development Goals, especially those concerning women’s empowerment at the local level.
